The big question is "How do we use ICT in all our curriculum areas?" HOW WE CAN USE GOOGLE
ENGLISH
Google can be used to research information on films or poetry. Blogs and Wiki's can be used to discuss different texts. Use Google for researching CD-Roms, internet and interactive games to gain information.
HPE
Google can be used for research purposes such as analysing food to see if it is healthy and then it can be graphed. Use a forum to discuss with other people to gain knowledge on their views on HPE related topics.
LOTE
Google can be used for researching, enabling students to develop social and cultural understandings.
MATHEMATICS
Use Google to explore and investigate therefore enhancing the students enjoyment of mathematics.
SCIENCE
Google is used to share knowledge with other students, allowing data and findings to be shared amongst investigators either within the classroom or a completely different school.
SOSE
Google as a search engine can be used to perform searches to gain information relating to a specific investigation.
TECHNOLOGY
Use Google to research different types of products such as digital cameras, phones or ipods.
ARTS
Google can be used for Blogs and Wiki's that can provide students with the tool to brainstorm ideas amongst themselves or from other schools.
ICT
Google can be used to research on how to use other forms of ICT.
LANGUAGE FOR ESL LEARNERS
Google translate can be used to help students view web pages in other languages.
